Information and support

This website explains our work and how to enquire. General information cannot take account of every person’s circumstances. If you need legal advice, representation or help with a deadline, contact an appropriately qualified legal adviser. Our urgent help and legal advice routes can help you find a starting point.

Enquiries and any support we agree to provide are free. We assess requests for suitability and capacity. Sending an email does not mean a case has been accepted. We will need to agree what support we can offer and its limits.

We do not provide legal representation or an emergency service. These descriptions do not remove any rights or protections you have under applicable law.

Contact and concerns

If you spot an error, need information in another format or have a concern about our work, please contact us. You can read our feedback and complaints guidance before sending details.

For concerns about personal information, use the data protection complaints route. Our policies section brings together the public statements available on this website.
