Communication needs
Tell us how you prefer to communicate and what helps you understand information. We can discuss what’s possible.
Initial enquiries currently use email. If you cannot email yourself, a family member, friend or professional can make an enquiry on your behalf. Phone or video support is arranged individually after contact.
Tell us which method is safe and any restrictions, such as not leaving voicemail or contacting another person. We will need to discuss consent before sharing information or arranging support through someone else.
Feedback and complaints
To tell us about your experience, raise a concern or make a complaint, email contact@conviction.org.uk with “Feedback” or “Complaint” in the subject line.
Start with a brief account of what happened, when and what you would like us to do. Leave out case files and unnecessary information about other people. You can ask who would see your complaint and how it would be handled before giving further details.
If your concern involves the coordinator
Say this in your first message and ask who can consider the concern before sending a detailed account. We do not have a separate management committee; do not assume the general inbox reaches an independent reviewer.
For a concern about personal information, use the privacy contact route. For a problem using the website, report an accessibility issue.
Please keep in mind
Support enquiries are assessed individually, subject to capacity. Contacting us does not guarantee that we can take on your case, and we cannot promise a particular response time for support enquiries. This does not affect the legal timescales for data protection requests or complaints.
We are not an emergency service and do not provide legal representation. Do not wait for a reply from us if you need urgent help or advice about a legal deadline. Use the urgent help and legal advice routes.
